It boasts a ground floor living area that leads out to a large balcony with a BBQ and outdoor dining facilities, as well as a private hot tub all exclusively for your use. Modern yet charming, Heron Lodge is the perfect West Country getaway for your next holiday in the heart of the Quantock Hills.

-Master bedroom with a king bed, en-suite shower room, wall-mounted Freeview TV, and private east facing balcony overlooking the lake

-Shared family bathroom and a landing area, with wall mounted TV and access to the west facing balcony
Outside
-Two sets of bi-fold doors open from the living area onto a generous deck with table, chairs and sun lounger
-Private hot tub
-BBQ, which comes with a pack of charcoal
-Utility room with washing and drying facilities, and space to store your muddy boots and bikes

Sadly Heron Lodge is not suitable for dogs but many of our other lodges at Mill Meadow welcome dogs. Please check our other listings!

Mill Meadow are located at Parsonage Lane, Kingston St. Mary, Taunton, Somerset TA2 8HL. We operate a flexible check in policy to suit you. Just let us know and we can give you more information on our flexible check-in system. Check in is at 4pm on your arrival day, and check out is at 10am unless you have made other arrangements with your Housekeeper prior to checkout.
There are lots of ways to get to Mill Meadow; we will be happy to send you full directions if you contact us before you are due to arrive. The most common ways are:
-By Car
On Google Maps or Apple Maps, you can find us by searching “Mill Meadow Eco Holiday Homes”.
Mill Meadow is about 5 miles from the M5. From junction 25 of the M5, follow the A358 towards Taunton. At the third roundabout (just past Asda) turn right (towards Minehead) and over Obridge Viaduct bridge. At next roundabout turn left and follow road to the second set of traffic lights. Get in right hand lane and follow signs to Kingston St Mary. After about 2 miles, you will see the sign for “Kingston St Mary”. At the cross roads, turn left onto Parsonage Lane (there is a sign on the right side of the road directing you to “Mill Meadow”). After 50 metres you will see Mill Meadow on the right hand side. There is a site plan available at the entrance to Mill Meadow to help you locate your accommodation.

Mill Meadow is a 10 minute drive from Taunton’s mainline rail station (London Paddington 1 hour 40 mins).
-By Bus
National Express and Berrys Coaches run regular services from London to Taunton. For more public transport information visit www.transportdirect.info.
-By Plane
Bristol and Exeter airports are normally less than an hour’s drive away. Drive time to London Heathrow is under 3 hours – transfers can be arranged on request.
Your lodge/cottage will have a designated Housekeeper who is your first point of contact during your stay. The Property Manager can also be contacted between 7:30am and 9:00pm, and we will make sure to provide you with full contact details when we send your booking confirmation.
We want you to enjoy your stay so if you have any concerns, please notify your Housekeeper or the Property Manager immediately so that we can make sure you have the best time at Mill Meadow.

Somerset is known for its excellent pubs and restaurants as well as its rich history and stunning natural beauty. Explore local cider farms, heritage sites such as Taunton Castle, or hike across the Quantocks. Somerset really does have something for everyone.
Mill Meadow is the perfect rural retreat to escape, relax and refresh. A private and gated community with spacious, light filled lodges, inviting hot tubs and a private coarse fishing lake, it is the premier destination for anyone seeking a luxurious lodge holiday experience.
We are happy to provide pick ups from the local bus and train stations, or to arrange an airport pick up if required. Just get in touch with us to arrange this at the time of your booking and we can discuss your transport needs.
There are plenty of local taxi services available too. Some of our favourites are A1 ACE Taxis or TLC Taxis.
The bus stop at Mill Cross, the junction of Parsonage Lane and Kingston Road, will take you directly into Taunton.
Private hire airport transfers can be independently booked through Knight Brothers Travel or the Somerset Travel Company.

Check-out on departure day is 10am, unless you have agreed a different time with your Housekeeper.
