Explore More with our all terrain Tramper scooter

As part of our commitment to making your enjoyment of Mill Meadow as accessible as possible we’ve partnered with the award winning Countryside Mobility service to offer an all terrain Tramper scooter for guests with no hire charges!

As far as we know we’re the only UK holiday lodge experience at this scale to provide this type of service to guests.

Access the Beauty on Your Doorstep…in every season.

The Tramper is easy and safe to use and enables you to get the most out of Mill Meadow’s beautiful setting. As well as providing access to our beautiful lakeshore path you will be able to explore The Spinney – a 7 acre natural oasis cared for by The Woodland Trust – which can be directly access from Mill Meadow.

In The Spinney the Tramper will enable you to access the vast majority of paths, exploring areas of woodland, meadow, babbling brooks and distant views of the Quantock Hills.

Practicalities

To ensure your safety and enjoyment, we’ll provide an introduction to the Tramper and give you information on where the Tramper can go. In the process you’ll become a member of Countryside Mobility (unless you are
already).

There are 3 membership choices to suit your needs, click here for more:

 Annual – £15

 Taster (2 weeks) – £5

 Single Use – £3

  • You’ll need to have read through and sign the Tramper Medical Declaration, click here to read through in advance.
  • You need to be at 14 years old but no previous experience of using a mobility scooter is needed. It is really quick and easy to pick up. Click here to watch a video to get a better idea of what a Tramper is like to use.
  • Your membership then acts like a driving license making all future hires quick and easy.

You can even use your membership in the North of England thanks to a reciprocal arrangement Countryside Mobility has with its sister charity initiative, Outdoor Mobility.
