We now know that Mill Meadow should reopen to tourism by 12th April 2021 and HMGov have produced a detailed “roadmap” with target dates and a clear 4 Step process from which the following key points are most relevant to guests wanting to holiday at Mill Meadow.

Step 1 (two parts split between 8 and 29 March)

Self-catering remains closed other than for the HMGov exceptions.

Step 2 – Mill Meadow will reopen for tourism from 12 April at the earliest, subject to an assessment of the data against the four tests.

Domestic overnight stays will be allowed and self-contained accommodation can also reopen, though must only be used by members of the same household.

All newly open settings must continue to abide by any social contact rules.

Step 3 – from 17 May at the earliest and at least five weeks after Step 2

Indoors, people will be able to meet socially in a group of 6, or with 1 other household.

Most legal restrictions on meeting others outdoors are expected to be lifted, but gatherings of more than 30 people outdoors will remain illegal.

COVID-Secure guidance will remain in place.

Step 4 – from 21 June at the earliest, and at least five weeks after Step 3
With appropriate mitigations in place, by Step 4, the Government aims to remove all legal limits on social contact.
