Good morning, another early start and I actually woke up the hens this morning amidst mutterings of “where’s the Saturday morning lie in?” (me not the hens!).

So HMGov have been in overdrive overnight and into the early hours this morning issuing numerous updates and directives on all manner of topics but still nothing on self catering accommodation providers.

Our local Destination Management Organisation, #visitsomerset are lobbying HMGov hard for guidance so that we can have clarity.

In the meantime we have reviewed our House Keeping practices both to further protect staff, guests and suppliers and I will be posting more on this later today or early tomorrow.
