Good for the mind, body and soul in Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week reminds us to not only think about our own well being but also to keep a watchful eye on those around us and not just for the week. Life can be challenging at the best of times but when you factor in the additional health and financial worries that are regularly in the press at the moment it becomes even more important.

Spending time in green space or bringing nature into your everyday life can benefit both your mental and physical wellbeing. For example, doing things like growing food or flowers, exercising outdoors or being around animals can have lots of positive effects.*

Good advice from Mind and at Mill Meadow you can find all of these and more.

As we enter Mental Health Awareness Week have a look at what is available at and around Mill Meadow and maybe give yourself, or someone you care for or are concerned about, a break from those everyday pressures.

Mental Health Awareness Week

Whether a short break holiday or a Workation just to have a change of scenery if you work from home (we have excellent WIFI speeds) just getting away for a few days can help anyones overall wellbeing.

Plus we have some great Offers and Discounts available, click here for more information.

At Mill Meadow you can immerse yourself in nature, perhaps taking in one of Linda’s Mindfulness Walks helping you to leave feel refreshed, relaxed and recharged .

But if a short break is not for you at the moment then just getting out into the garden, countryside, local park and immersing yourself in all that  Mother Nature has to offer can only benefit you.

Whatever you do be kind to yourself.
